Privacy / Plain language

Personal by design.

What stays private, what is shared, and why.

NerveShock is a personal journal—not an advertising platform, mailing list, or account-based service.

01

Contact messages

The contact form collects the name, email address, subject, message, and any optional questionnaire answers you choose to provide. It verifies the request and emails the message directly to Joey. NerveShock does not add it to a public website database or mailing list.

02

Email retention

Messages may remain in the ordinary mailbox used to receive and answer them. You may request deletion by writing to [email protected].

03

Cloudflare verification

The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to reduce automated abuse. Cloudflare processes the technical information needed to decide whether a request appears legitimate.

04

Private training tools

Notes, goals, personal bests, and similar entries created in My Desk remain in your browser on your device unless you intentionally export them. Clearing browser storage may remove them.

05

Activity summaries

The public dashboard receives daily totals and completed gym-visit summaries. It does not receive coordinates, routes, or live location. Public gym attendance is delayed until the following day.

06

No advertising profiles

NerveShock does not sell personal information, run a newsletter, or require an account. Standard server security logs may temporarily record technical request information needed to protect and operate the site.

Questions or deletion requests

Ask directly.

If something here is unclear or you want a contact message deleted, email Joey and include enough detail to identify the message.
